Simple Stitches How To : Open Chain Stitch

Open Loop Stitch: Begin by stitching through the underneath of backside of your piece, pull your thread all the way through, leaving a space, stitch back through the top side of your piece, pull your thread through but leave a loop remaining. From the backside, stitch just behind the bottom of your loop, pull your thread all the way through and then make another stitch just below your loop, stitching all the way through your loop will now be held in place.This stitch is also called a daisy stitch, loop stitch, wishbone stitch, well - you get the idea!
